Jerry was an Assistant Professor of Management at Western Michigan University for two years prior to his moving to the corporate world with Associated Metals and Minerals Corporation (ASOMA a $5 billion company, where he conducted business in approximately 75 countries mostly in Europe, Latin America, and Asia. He then became Executive Director of Harvard’s International Marketing Institute (IMI) followed by a stint as Senior Consultant for Dr. Peter Senge and his organization Innovation Associates (IA). Senge wrote the seminal text on organizational learning – The Fifth Discipline: The Art and Practice of the Learning Organization which has sold approximately 1 million copies around the world. Jerry later joined the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). CCL is the world’s premier leadership training institute where he was a lead trainer for The Leadership Development Program (LDP) - as well as the firm’s 3-day “Effecting Change” program. He also designed custom leadership development programs for CCL clients around the world.
Jerry as president of The Leadership Group,has done work in Singapore, Italy, Russia, Colombia, Canada, the U.K., France, Costa Rica, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Venezuela, and throughout the U.S. He has worked with a number of prestigious global clients including Wendy’s International, Xerox, GlaxoSmithKline, GE Medical Systems, the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Center for Creative Leadership, the Boston Consulting Group, the International Institute of Finance, Eli Lilly (Canada), OIE (Italy), Leonisa (Colombia), Sanofi-Synthelabo (France), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), The Gordon Institute of the Tufts school of Engineering, and the Schott Foundation.
